Pet Blessing Service

wednesday, oct. 2 at 6:00pm

Bring your pooch, cat, or any other pet to St. Paul's for our fall pet blessing.
Pet blessings are often held the first week of October as the church remembers the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Invite a friend or neighbor!

God Wauk

SATURDAY, ocT. 12 at 9:30am - location TBD

Come for a worship hike in a Waukegan park! The hike will include scripture readings, prayers, and Holy Communion. The other fall hikes will be on Nov. 2 and (weather-permitting) Dec. 7 at locations still to be determined.

Things to know about Worship:

  • To enter our church, park in the lot off of Garden Place (behind the church) and enter the doors with the etched crosses. There are no steps between the lot and our worship space and our ushers are happy to help you navigate the space with walkers or wheelchairs.

  • Holy Communion is served at each service and open to all who attend. Children who have not received instruction are welcome to come forward for a blessing. To get instruction for your child, please speak with our pastor.

    • Gluten-free wafers and grape juice are available.

  • Assisted hearing devices and large print bulletins are available.

  • Children are welcome and encouraged to attend. We are looking to hear that “Holy Noise!”

    • Children ages 1-5 are welcome to join each other for playtime in the Gathering Room during the message and prayers, and rejoin their grown-ups for Holy Communion. The Gathering Room is within sight and sound of the Sanctuary so parents/caregivers can easily listen to the Word during worship even if their child is restless.

  • Coffee and Donuts!

    • Yes, every Sunday we offer coffee and donuts in our gathering space for further fellowship with our church family. All are welcome - we look forward to meeting you!
