Training Sessions

Nov. 8 (Friday) 6 pm to 9pm and Nov. 9 (Saturday) 9 am to 5 pm

At our transition congregational forum we heard members express a wish to be intentionally welcoming to LGBTQIA+ people who we know are in our congregation, families, and community. These neighbors often lack the security of knowing they will be welcomed into families, social groups, churches, jobs, and other groups.

To begin this journey St. Pauls’ congregational council decided to host training from Reconciling Works (The Reconciling in Christ Program). ReconcilingWorks has existed since 1983 with a mission to “Work at the intersection of oppressions, to embody, inspire, advocate, and organize for the full participation of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities within the Lutheran communion and its ecumenical and global partners.”

Go to http://www.reconcilingworks.org/bic/ and look for us under "Upcoming Trainings". Click “Special Registration” to register for free.
