Many projects happen on a yearly basis, largely (but not exclusively) between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Examples of these seasonal projects are CROP Walk, Thanksgiving Food Drive, The Giving Tree, Operation Christmas Child,
Relay for Life, Back-to-School, and the Angel Tree.
The Bagel Brigade picks up bagels at Einstein’s in Gurnee, repackages
them by the dozen, and delivers them to the COOL Food Pantry. Teams
are needed for pick-up Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and for packaging
and delivering Wednesday and Friday morning.
